About the role
The HR Shared Services Specialist assists the Human Resources team in uploading, processing, and reporting on transactions related to employee and payroll data. This includes working with employees, the HR team, as well as external vendors and government entities to ensure accurate data is provided. This individual will support the Human Resources organization from our Global HRIS team.
What you'll do
- Global HR Transaction Management: Process and manage all global employee data changes, including onboarding, offboarding, transfers, promotions, and terminations
- Receive and validate the correction request, checking approval, supporting evidence and policy compliance
- Update the time entry in the system (e.g., Oracle /SAP), get manager approval where needed, and reconcile with leave and overtime records
- Run exception and variance reports before payroll cut-off to catch errors, and close tickets with an audit trial
- Handle retro or out-of-cycle corrections by coordinating with Payroll, and document root causes to reduce repeat errors
