About the role
Ayr designs and manufactures critical power grid equipment including power transformers, distribution transformers, special-purpose transformers, high-voltage circuit breakers, and medium-voltage switchgear. They serve markets such as renewables, data centers, utilities, oil & gas, and industrial sectors.
What you'll do
- The basic Mechanical design of HV circuit breaker analysing mechanical and structural integrity, tolerancing, dimensioning and manufacturability
- Define the parts and its clearances for manufacturing
- Analyse the mechanical dimensioning and tolerancing of parts to activate and support phenomenon of arc chamber and gaseous in dynamic condition
- Define Qualification requirements of the parts and assembly as per the design to meet the type test and routine test performance
- Define design parameters as per the IEEE / IEC Type tests of DTCB
