Testing Head

About the role

You will own the test strategy, the test laboratory and its equipment, and the qualification of test results against IEEE and customer requirements, from routine tests through type and special tests. You will work closely with quality, design, and manufacturing partners, and be the technical authority on whether a unit is ready for dispatch.

What you'll do

• Lead the testing function for HV transformers, setting test plans and procedures aligned with IEEE standards, IEC and IS requirements, and customer specifications
• Plan and oversee routine, type, and special tests, including temperature rise, short-circuit withstand, lightning impulse, switching impulse, partial discharge
• Review and approve test reports, and certify that each unit meets its design and contractual requirements before dispatch
• Oversee test equipment, calibration schedules, and test laboratory readiness, including high-voltage and high-current test setups
• Lead investigation of test failures, define root causes, and coordinate corrective and preventive actions with design, quality, and manufacturing partners
