About the role
This position receives technical guidance and administrative direction from the Piping Manager. Develops designs for complex mechanical and piping systems by performing a variety of design tasks on project(s) under the supervision of a Project Manager, Engineering Team (VOGT) also function as a Discipline Lead on projects.
What you'll do
- Prepares complete design packages for multi-discipline projects that meet project goals
- Prepares drawings using Engineering Scope of Work and/or information gathered from client, Project Manager, Project Engineer, and other disciplines
- Analyzes assignments with respect to project goals and selects best design option
- Assists with the review of as-sold estimate and the as-designed product
- Coordinates any required field trips and Project Management to gather field information for project team
