About the role
The Electrical Engineer II is responsible for the electrical design, implementation, testing, and commissioning support of Cytiva bioprocess systems and skid-based equipment. As an OEM-focused role, the engineer is responsible for the electrical design and integration of components within equipment control panels, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, P&IDs, URS, applicable international standards, and country-specific electrical regulations.
What you'll do
- Preparation and review of electrical engineering deliverables such as single line diagrams, power distribution concepts, load calculations, cable schedules
- The engineer shall ensure compliance with IEC, CE, UL, ATEX, GMP, and other applicable industry standards and customer specifications
- The role requires close collaboration with control panel suppliers, project managers, process engineers, automation engineers, procurement teams
- Responsibilities include customer specification review, technical proposal support, electrical costing inputs, supplier quotation evaluation, project scheduling support
- Coordinate and review control panel manufacturing activities, perform panel inspections, support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)
