About the role
Applies multiple engineering disciplines to plan, organize and conduct technical projects within design, fabrication, modification and evaluation of new or enhanced hardware products or systems. Projects may involve exploration of products and/or process problems, definition and selection of new concepts and approaches, origination or modification of material, component and process specifications and requirements.
What you'll do
- Responsible for the design and re-design of certain Hardware components and the development of new products, on-market products and support manufacturing activities
- Design and develop innovative mechanical solutions to improve performance, safety, reliability, throughput and cost-effectiveness
- Act as a change lead, managing the entire Design change process independently
- Handle multiple projects with proper project planning and minimal guidance
- Own hardware development from concept to release, including design verification and risk mitigation
