About the role

BHP’s Market Analysis and Economics team influences value-creating decisions through rigorous, independent and innovative research, analysis and forecasting of macroeconomic and commodity market developments. As Principal India Economist, you will combine deep India expertise with broad global macroeconomic capability.

What you'll do

• Analyse major global economic developments and explain their implications for growth, inflation, financial conditions and commodity demand
• Lead thematic research on structural and emerging issues, including productivity, technology, trade, urbanisation, economic development
