About the role
Under general supervision and applying knowledge gained with experience, begins functioning as a technical specialist. Continues to build on experience and gain more in depth knowledge working on larger and more complex assignments. May start to expand knowledge into other disciplines and/or functional areas.
What you'll do
- Design & Modeling: Perform modeling, analysis, and design of transmission lines (including steel poles/lattice towers) using PLS-CADD , PLS-Pole, and PLS-Tower
- PLS – Tower and Transmission line foundation design experience will be preferred
- Structural & Electrical Analysis: Calculate conductor sag/tension, design foundations, and lattice tower designs in PLS-Tower
