About the role
We are seeking an experienced AWS Python Backend Solution Architect to join the Cloud Data Hub (CDH) Team, collaborating with teams in Munich and BMW TechWorks India. The ideal candidate combines strong solution architecture capabilities with hands-on backend engineering expertise in Python, AWS, Kafka, Terraform, and cloud-native technologies.
What you'll do
- AWS Python Backend Solution Architect
- Design end-to-end backend and cloud solution architectures for the CDH platform
- Develop and maintain scalable backend services and REST APIs using Python and AWS
- Define architecture patterns, technical standards, service interfaces, and non-functional requirements
- Design serverless, microservices, and event-driven solutions using AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, SQS/SNS, EventBridge, and Step Functions
