About the role
You will be responsible for delivering automotive ECU hardware designs while actively contributing to the development of the BMW TechWorks India hardware engineering capability. The role requires hands-on hardware design expertise combined with PCB lay-outing and mentoring responsibilities for junior engineers.
What you'll do
- Hardware Design & Development
- Lead ECU hardware development from concept through production
- Design automotive electronic hardware including: Microcontroller-based systems, Analog and mixed-signal circuits, Power supply architectures, eFuses, PMIC
- Design and Review schematics, Design PCB layouts for manufacturability
- Support EMC, thermal, reliability, and environmental validation activities
