About the role
As part of the Stability and System Engineering team, you will help ensure the reliability and performance of next-generation Linux- and Android-based automotive control units. A key focus of your role will be defect management: analyzing issues reported during integration, validation, and vehicle drive testing; identifying root causes; and coordinating effective fixes across teams.
What you'll do
- Responsible for cross-cutting concerns of the platform, like architecture, security, stability and performance
- Responsible for monitoring and analyzing stability problems (e.g., system resets, application crashes) for multiple infotainment projects
- Perform first-hand analysis of high-priority defects, establish their impact and reproducibility, and drive timely investigation with the responsible teams
- Investigate complex issues involving system stability, performance, boot sequence, memory management, CPU utilization, resource usage, and system services
- Analyze defects across the Linux kernel, Android framework, HAL, middleware, drivers, and applications
