About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled MES Application Engineer to drive the development, standardization, and deployment of Manufacturing Execution System (MES) software interfaces and provide expert consultation to machine suppliers and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and MES technologies, with the ability to translate business and production requirements into robust technical solutions.
What you'll do
- Develop MES interface communication concepts based on manufacturing process flows and operational requirements
- Define and document MES interface specifications, including events, triggers, data exchange requirements, and telegram/message structures
- Review, validate, and ensure compliance of MES interfaces developed by machine suppliers with established standards and specifications
- Provide technical consultation and guidance to suppliers, plants, and internal stakeholders regarding MES specifications, configurations, and best practices
- Lead and support MES interface commissioning activities, including pre-acceptance testing, final acceptance, and pilot phase execution
