About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable English Teacher to teach students at the preparatory and secondary levels. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in English language and literature, along with a passion for fostering a love for reading, writing, and critical thinking among students.
What you'll do
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the English language and literature curriculum for preparatory and secondary grades
- Teach key aspects of English, including grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing skills, and literature analysis
- Introduce students to various genres of literature, helping them to analyze texts, understand themes, and appreciate literary elements
- Encourage critical thinking, discussion, and creative expression through interactive and engaging teaching methods
- Assess and evaluate student progress through tests, essays, projects, and presentations, providing constructive feedback for improvement
