About the role
This is a hands-on technical role responsible for the architecture, administration, and strategic enablement of the Power BI and ThoughtSpot platforms across the organization. The ideal candidate will drive platform administration, scalability, governance, report development, and adoption, while partnering closely with engineering, data, and business teams to enable data-driven decision-making at scale.
What you'll do
- Lead the end-to-end administration, governance, and operations of the Power BI platform, ensuring scalability, security, reliability, and optimal performance
- Administer and manage Power BI tenant settings, licensing models, workspaces, and Premium capacities to support enterprise requirements
- Monitor and troubleshoot Power BI Premium capacity utilization and performance using the Premium Capacity Metrics app and related tools
- Design, install, configure, and manage Power BI Gateways and enterprise data connections to ensure seamless data access
- Develop Power BI reports and semantic models based on business requirements, optimizing for usability and performance
