About the role
We are seeking a skilled and technical Multimedia Engineer with deep expertise in FFmpeg and digital media pipelines. In this role, you will design, build, optimize, and maintain automated audio and video encoding, transcoding, and streaming systems. You will work closely with software developers, product teams, and content operations to ensure high-performance, low-latency, and cross-platform media delivery.
What you'll do
- Troubleshooting & Performance Tuning: Diagnose and resolve complex multimedia issues related to sync, frame drops, container formats, metadata handling
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, QA, and frontend/backend engineering teams to integrate media capabilities into core applications and infrastructure
- Design, build, optimize, and maintain automated audio and video encoding, transcoding, and streaming systems
