About the role
We’re hiring on behalf of a U.S.-based technology company developing advanced AI systems for financial modeling and investment decision-making. In this role, you’ll build financial models from a blank Excel sheet and walk through your reasoning step by step, showing how real investment and lending decisions get made.
What you'll do
- Building PE, credit, and debt models from scratch in Excel (no templates)
- Structuring transactions, assumptions, and key drivers
- Reviewing and debugging models built by others, spotting flawed assumptions, broken logic, and hidden risks
- Explaining why a model works, not just what it outputs
