About the role

This would be a contractual agreement, and renewable upon mutual consent. Work will be available regularly so that you can maintain a predictable schedule.

What you'll do

• Copy-edit manuscripts such that the final text is in standard scientific English: Edit academic and scientific manuscripts for grammar, punctuation, clarity
• Ensure that the language is appropriate for a global academic audience and meets the conventions of formal scientific writing
• Make changes to ensure that the manuscript conforms to the journal's style
• Adapt manuscripts to match house style guides or individual journal requirements, ensuring consistency throughout the text, tables, figures, and supplementary materials
• Crosscheck document metadata such as references using software tools: Review and verify key metadata elements such as in-text citations, reference lists
