About the role
Overview CACTUS is a remote-first organization and we embrace an accelerate from anywhere culture. You may be required to travel to our Mumbai office based on business requirements or for company/team events. We’re looking for an experienced legal professional to strengthen our legal function, streamline contract management, and provide practical legal guidance that supports business objectives.
What you'll do
- Draft, review, negotiate, and manage commercial contracts, NDAs, vendor agreements, and other business-critical legal documents
- Oversee contract lifecycle management, including approvals, renewals, compliance, and documentation
- Support corporate compliance, policy management, and data privacy requirements across jurisdictions
- Manage intellectual property matters, freelancer and independent contractor agreements, and related legal queries
- Partner with cross-functional teams and external counsel to address legal risks and deliver business-oriented solutions
