About the role
The role strengthens GST compliance controls, ensures adherence to regulatory requirements, minimizes tax risks, and supports business operations through effective GST reporting and automation tools. Manage timely and accurate filing of monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, and GSTR-9C as applicable).
What you'll do
- Manage timely and accurate filing of monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, and GSTR-9C as applicable)
- Prepare accurate data for the annual return (GSTR-9) and the reconciliation statement (GSTR-9C, as applicable)
- Monitor and validate ITC in compliance with GST rules
- Coordinate with the Accounts/Finance team for timely reconciliation of the ITC ledger, GSTR-2B, and books of accounts
- Monitor vendor GSTIN validity and communicate updates to Finance to prevent business disruptions
