About the role
The incumbent will be responsible for preventive and breakdown maintenance, equipment reliability, troubleshooting, execution of engineering projects and compliance with cGMP, safety and statutory requirements. Carry out preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of API manufacturing equipment.
What you'll do
- Ensure reliable operation, maintenance and upkeep of mechanical equipment and engineering systems installed across the API manufacturing facility
- Responsible for preventive and breakdown maintenance, equipment reliability, troubleshooting, execution of engineering projects and compliance with cGMP
- Ensure smooth operation and maintenance of reactors, centrifuges, dryers, condensers, heat exchangers and filtration systems
- Handle maintenance of pumps, mechanical seals, gearboxes, agitators, valves and pipelines
- Identify equipment abnormalities and troubleshoot mechanical failures
