About the role
Assist welders, fitters, fabricators, and other maintenance personnel in daily fabrication activities. Assist in the loading, unloading, shifting, lifting, and positioning of MS and SS pipes, plates, structural materials, and equipment. Perform rigging activities using approved lifting tools and accessories such as slings, shackles, chain blocks, and lifting belts.
What you'll do
- Assist welders, fitters, fabricators, and other maintenance personnel in daily fabrication activities
- Assist in the loading, unloading, shifting, lifting, and positioning of MS and SS pipes, plates, structural materials, and equipment
- Perform rigging activities using approved lifting tools and accessories such as slings, shackles, chain blocks, and lifting belts
- Assist in the erection, installation, alignment, and dismantling of piping, supports, structures, and mechanical equipment
- Support fabrication work by arranging materials, holding components, and assisting with pipe fit-up and positioning
