About the role
Perform welding of process piping, utility piping, and equipment connections according to approved drawings and procedures. Perform welding, fabrication, installation, and repair of Mild Steel (MS) and Stainless Steel (SS) pipelines and mechanical components. Perform arc welding (SMAW) and other approved welding processes for MS piping, supports, structures, and equipment.
What you'll do
- Perform welding of process piping, utility piping, and equipment connections according to approved drawings and procedures
- Perform welding, fabrication, installation, and repair of Mild Steel (MS) and Stainless Steel (SS) pipelines and mechanical components
- Perform arc welding (SMAW) and other approved welding processes for MS piping, supports, structures, and equipment
- Perform welding of pipe joints, elbows, tees, reducers, flanges, valves, and other piping accessories
- Inspect weld joints for cracks, porosity, undercut, incomplete penetration, and other visible defects
