About the role
Lead energy advisory assignments covering electricity markets, policy and regulation, power systems, renewable energy, energy storage, demand flexibility, network planning, decarbonisation and energy transition strategy. Take ownership of defined areas of study, including scoping the approach, structuring the analysis, managing inputs, reviewing outputs and ensuring that findings are robust, commercially relevant and aligned with client objectives.
What you'll do
- Lead energy advisory assignments covering electricity markets, policy and regulation, power systems, renewable energy, energy storage, demand flexibility
- Take ownership of defined areas of study, including scoping the approach, structuring the analysis, managing inputs
- Conduct and oversee policy, regulatory, market, technical and commercial research across generation, transmission, distribution, distributed energy resources
- Analyse existing and emerging policies, regulations, market rules, tariff structures, grid codes
- Lead strategic studies, market assessments, feasibility assessments, commercial analysis, regulatory impact assessments, implementation roadmaps
