About the role
Members of our power and transmission team not only perform the line design, but directly interact with colleagues in our other engineering teams, and with clients and regulators to understand requirements and negotiate solutions. Knows to Prepare Technical Abstract from feasibility study and Specification.
What you'll do
- Prepare Sag tension calculations using PLS CADD with define weathering conditions of specification as per international standards
- Prepare loading calculations in excel & as well as in PLS CADD (Power Line Systems - Computer Aided Design and Drafting) software
- Preparing engineering documents related to transmission tower and foundation design
- Attend site meetings (virtual) and provide ongoing design drawing changes / support as required during project build
