About the role
The suitable candidate for this role is a Principal BIM Engineer specializing in Plant and Piping design for Water and Wastewater projects, with a strong focus on Digital Delivery. The role involves close coordination with design engineers and digital teams across India and New Zealand, supporting project delivery through high‑quality CAD and 3D modelling outputs.
What you'll do
- Deliver Plant & Piping CAD and BIM outputs for water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including pipelines, pumping stations, treatment plants
- Prepare 2D and 3D deliverables using AutoCAD and Plant 3D, including GA drawings, piping layouts, isometrics, plot plans, sections, PFDs, P&IDs
- Develop, manage, and maintain federated BIM models, undertaking clash detection, coordination, issue resolution, reporting
- Coordinate with multi‑disciplinary teams (civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and process) to deliver integrated and constructible design outcomes
- Liaise with New Zealand / ANZ lead offices to support cross‑regional project delivery and effective communication
