About the role
WSP is currently seeking a Senior Engineer – Civil & Structural to join our Power department. Working out of our office in India, while collaborating closely with our office in USA, the Senior Engineer – Civil & Structural will report directly to the Structural Discipline Lead, Power & Energy, USA. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who has an excellent knowledge of the field and is versatile.
What you'll do
- Working out of our office in India, while collaborating closely with our office in USA, the Senior Engineer
- Design light foundations and structures for solar farms, battery energy storage facilities, and substation projects
- Design heavy foundations and structures for large power generation projects: generators, turbines, transformers, pipe racks, gas compressors, metal building systems
- Design structural steel systems for buildings, Platforms, equipment supports, etc
- Coordinate design requirements with drafter/designers
