About the role
To provide engaging and comprehensive instruction in the arts, nurturing students' creativity, critical thinking, and self-expression. The Arts Teacher will support the school’s vision by delivering an internationally-minded and culturally diverse arts curriculum.
What you'll do
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in the arts (visual arts and/or performing arts) following international curriculum standards (e.g., IB, Cambridge, American)
- Encourage creativity, experimentation, and appreciation for various art forms, techniques, and cultural influences
- Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate diverse learning styles and needs
- Design and implement an inclusive and age-appropriate arts curriculum aligned with school and curriculum guidelines
- Integrate interdisciplinary learning opportunities where appropriate (e.g., linking art with history, literature, science)
