About the role
The Classical Dance Facilitator is responsible for teaching Indian classical dance forms to students across different grade levels. The facilitator will help students develop dance techniques, rhythm, expression, discipline, and stage confidence while promoting cultural appreciation and supporting school performances and events.
What you'll do
- Teach classical dance forms such as Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi, Kathak, or other recognized styles
- Develop structured lesson plans suitable for beginner to advanced levels
- Train students in basic adavus, mudras, expressions (abhinaya), and footwork
- Teach rhythm (tala), coordination, posture, and body alignment
- Encourage creativity, discipline, and cultural appreciation through dance
