About the role
The Drums Facilitator is responsible for teaching drum techniques and rhythm skills to students across different grade levels. The facilitator will develop students’ musical abilities, coordination, rhythm sense, and performance confidence while supporting school music programs and events.
What you'll do
- Teach drum techniques to students of various age groups and skill levels
- Develop structured lesson plans for beginner, intermediate, and advanced learners
- Teach rhythm patterns, beats, timing, coordination, and basic music theory
- Train students in proper posture, stick control, and drum kit handling
- Introduce students to reading rhythm notation and counting beats
