About the role
The Guitar Facilitator is responsible for teaching guitar to students across different grade levels, fostering musical skills, creativity, and performance confidence. The facilitator will plan engaging lessons, train students in music theory and practical performance, and support school music events and performances.
What you'll do
- Teach guitar (acoustic and/or electric) to students of different age groups
- Develop structured lesson plans based on students' skill levels (beginner to advanced)
- Teach basic to advanced guitar techniques, including chords, strumming, scales, and fingerstyle
- Introduce students to basic music theory , rhythm, and notation reading
- Encourage creativity, musical expression, and stage confidence
