About the role

The School Librarian plays a vital role in supporting the academic curriculum and promoting a love for reading and research. The librarian manages the library’s day-to-day operations, develops its collection, assists students and staff with resource access, and fosters information literacy within a multicultural and inquiry-based learning environment.

What you'll do

• Organize and maintain the library collection (physical and digital), including cataloguing, classifying, and shelving resources
• Implement and maintain an effective library management system (LMS)
• Monitor usage, loan records, overdue items, and maintain inventory accuracy
• Ensure a safe, quiet, and welcoming space for reading, study, and research
• Cultivate a culture of reading and literacy by curating age-appropriate collections
