About the role
The Music Teacher is responsible for delivering a dynamic and engaging music program that fosters students’ musical abilities, creativity, and appreciation for global musical traditions. The role includes classroom teaching, co-curricular involvement, and contributions to school-wide performances and events.
What you'll do
- Plan and deliver music lessons across relevant grade levels in accordance with the school’s curriculum (e.g., IB PYP/MYP/DP, Cambridge, or local framework)
- Teach music theory, vocal techniques, instrumental instruction, and composition
- Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to engage students of different ages and abilities
- Instrumental & Vocal Training
- Lead choir/vocal groups and support solo and group performance development
