About the role
Secondary School Teacher – Social Science / Social Studies (Cambridge CIE & CBSE) The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing lessons in History, Geography, Civics/Economics, and related humanities subjects, ensuring alignment with both curricular frameworks while catering to the differentiated learning needs of a diverse student body.
What you'll do
- Plan and deliver engaging lesson plans for CBSE Social Science (History, Geography, Civics, Economics) and Cambridge IGCSE Global Perspectives, History
- Prepare students for CBSE board examinations and Cambridge Checkpoint/IGCSE assessments, ensuring syllabus completion within academic timelines
- Design formative and summative assessments in line with CBSE and Cambridge assessment objectives (AO1, AO2, AO3 for Cambridge)
- Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and progress in the school's academic systems
- Participate in curriculum mapping and vertical alignment across grade levels
