About the role
To deliver a comprehensive and safe swimming program that develops students’ water safety skills, swimming techniques, and overall physical fitness. The coach will foster a positive environment that encourages participation, discipline, and sportsmanship in both recreational and competitive swimming.
What you'll do
- Plan and deliver swimming lessons appropriate for various age groups and skill levels
- Teach water safety, stroke techniques (freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke, butterfly), starts, turns, and endurance training
- Differentiate instruction for beginner, intermediate, and advanced swimmers
- Ensure strict supervision and adherence to safety protocols at all times
- Conduct pre-session pool checks and ensure all safety equipment is functional and accessible
