About the role
The Dance Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering engaging and inclusive dance instruction to students across various age groups. The teacher also supports school events and performances, helping students develop confidence and performance skills in line with the school’s international ethos.
What you'll do
- Teach a variety of dance styles (e.g., contemporary, classical, jazz, hip-hop, cultural/folk, ballet) tailored to different age groups
- Design structured lesson plans that balance technique, expression, and physical fitness
- Use music, choreography, and movement to build confidence, coordination, and creativity
- Curriculum & Program Development
- Align dance instruction with the school's performing arts or PE curriculum
