About the role
We are looking for a skilled Embedded Firmware QA Engineer to validate, test, and ensure the quality of embedded software and firmware running on microcontroller and embedded Linux-based platforms. The ideal candidate should possess strong testing expertise, embedded systems knowledge, debugging skills, and experience working closely with firmware, hardware, and software development teams.
What you'll do
- Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test strategies for embedded firmware and software applications
- Execute manual and automated testing for embedded products across various hardware platforms
- Perform regression, integration, system, and stress testing for firmware releases
- Identify, document, track, and verify defects using bug-tracking tools
- Conduct root cause analysis and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues efficiently
