About the role
The Senior DevOps Engineer is responsible for advancing and embedding DevOps practices across platforms, enabling the efficient, reliable, and scalable delivery of applications. This role serves as a critical link between software development and IT operations, driving automation, system integration, and continuous delivery capabilities across .NET and SQL-based environments, including both legacy and modern technology stacks.
What you'll do
- Contribute to the implementation and adoption of DevOps practices, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technology priorities
- Support the transition towards automated, scalable, and resilient deployment models to enhance operational efficiency and reliability
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across software delivery processes to optimise platform performance, efficiency, and stability
- Liaise with stakeholders across MUFG and third-party vendors to support application platforms, services, and integrations
- Collaborate closely with development teams to embed DevOps principles throughout the application design, build, testing, and deployment lifecycle
