About the role
This position is in our Ag & Trading enterprise, where we connect producers and users of grains and oilseeds around the globe through origination, trading, processing, and distribution. We also offer a range of farmer services and risk management solutions. The Oilseeds & Meal Trader will participate in face to face and remote selling to both new and existing customers.
What you'll do
- Contribute to identification of trading opportunities, development and implementation of trading strategies
- Originate, procure and sell commodities, execute and monitor short term trading strategies and books for oilseeds and meals
- Collaborate with transportation and logistics, quality assurance, customer managers and credit manager to ensure efficient execution
- Monitor trading positions and associated risks ie m2m and market exposures, credit risks, commodity health risk
- Reconcile routine or repetitive profit and loss estimates and reports that require some interpretation of trading practices and procedures
