About the role
We are seeking a skilled IT Infrastructure Support Engineer with excellent communication skills, basic knowledge of passive and active networking, and foundational understanding of ESXi servers and Windows operating systems. The ideal candidate will handle first-level IT infrastructure support and ensure the smooth functioning of IT systems while escalating complex issues to higher support tiers.
What you'll do
- Incident and Request Management: ITSM Respond to and resolve technical support tickets promptly, ensuring proper categorization and documentation
- Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate teams when necessary
- Diagnose connectivity issues and escalate more complex network problems
- Support virtualization tasks, including server reboots and verifying VM health
- Assist with software installation, updates, and licensing tasks
