About the role
We are seeking a Lead Developer to launch and run a software team at our brand-new site in Chennai, India. You will manage and guide a team of up to 5 developers, play a key role in hiring, and shape the team’s growth. The role is split 50/50 between hands-on development and technical leadership / management.
What you'll do
- As a Lead Developer, you will report to the Head of Technology (based in London)
- Leading the development of new features and platform improvements
- Managing, mentoring and motivating team members
- Liaising with UK based stakeholders and ensuring team alignment with business and technical objectives
- Planning, coordinating and delivering technical projects to the agreed schedule
