About the role
The Application Engineer – Aftermarket will report to the Regional Commercial Operations Lead – Pump AM, APAC, and will be based in Bangalore. The role involves supporting technical tendering and quotation activities for API pump aftermarket requirements, including replacement pumps, spare parts, upgrades, and services.
What you'll do
- Coordinate with the sales team to understand customer requirements, technical specifications, scope, and submission timelines
- Review customer inquiries, RFQs, and tender documents to identify technical and commercial requirements
- Assist in preparing techno-commercial offers, quotations, and tender submissions for API pump aftermarket products and services
- Review technical specifications and identify applicable customer requirements for replacement pumps, spare parts, and related services
- Coordinate with suppliers and the Supply Chain team to obtain quotations for required components and bought-in equipment
