What you'll do
- Install, configure, and maintain EDA tool suites from major vendors (e.g., Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor/Siemens, Ansys)
- Administer license servers (FlexLM/FlexNet) and monitor usage to ensure compliance and optimize license availability for global teams
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for hardware engineers, resolving issues related to tool crashes, tool installation issues, and environment configurations
- Develop and maintain scripts (Python, Tcl, Perl, or Bash) to automate repetitive tasks, integrate different tools into a unified design flow, and improve productivity
