About the role

Webex Data Analytics Platform (WAP) engineering organization is responsible for developing the big data platform at Webex. The platform forms the base on which other teams, including the WAP team, develop their analytics and data pipelines. We are looking for a hands-on Software Engineer to join a high-impact data engineering team with a focus on developing data products and features by leveraging the underlying data analytics platform.

What you'll do

• Build high-performant, highly scalable, complex, and distributed systems – end to end
• Contribute to a future-ready, high-quality, and performant codebase
• Share technical solutions and product ideas with the broader team through design review, code review, proof-of-concepts, and show-and-tell sessions
• Participate and contribute ideas to our technology, algorithms, and products
• Work closely with development, test, and various cross-technology teams to design development strategies and plans
