About the role
We are looking for an Assistant Manager / Manager – Substation Design to lead design engineering activities for solar and wind projects up to 220kV. The role involves preparing layouts, calculations, and documentation, conducting electrical studies, and reviewing vendor designs in compliance with industry standards.
What you'll do
- Prepare and deliver construction layouts (Plant, Sectional, Cable Trench, DSLP, Earthing, Illumination, Control Room) for projects up to 220kV
- Prepare substation design calculations (Earthing, DSLP, Illumination, CT-PT sizing, Cable sizing)
- Develop BOQ, DBR, cable schedules, termination schedules, and SCADA I/O lists
- Conduct load flow, short circuit, and relay coordination studies using ETAP
- Review vendor equipment documents (CT, PT, LA, CRP, CB, Isolator, Wavetrap, Battery Charger, UPS)
