About the role
As a Big Data Intern, you will assist the data engineering and analytics teams in managing large datasets, gaining hands-on experience with tools like Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases. You will work on data processing tasks and contribute to developing solutions that make sense of vast amounts of data.
What you'll do
- Assist in data cleaning, processing, and transformation tasks
- Learn and work with Big Data tools and frameworks like Hadoop, Spark, and HDFS
- Collaborate with senior team members in analyzing large datasets
- Perform basic data analysis to derive insights
- Support the team in implementing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes
