Cyber Security Intern

About the role

As a Cyber Security Intern, you will work closely with our cyber security team to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of cyber security operations. Under the guidance of experienced professionals, you will have the opportunity to contribute to real-world projects and initiatives aimed at protecting our organization from cyber threats.

What you'll do

• Assist in monitoring and analyzing security events and alerts from various sources, including security information and event management (SIEM) systems
• Participate in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing activities to identify and address security weaknesses in our systems and networks
• Contribute to the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and controls to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Support incident response efforts by assisting in the investigation, containment, and recovery of security incidents and breaches
• Help maintain and enhance cyber security awareness training programs for employees to promote a culture of security awareness and compliance
