About the role
This role is responsible for managing all Supplier Quality Engineering activities of INDIA region both for AG & CE. The plant locations covered are India – Greater Noida (AG), Pune (AG), Pithampur (CE)
What you'll do
- Project review (New & Capacity Enhancement) & identification of potential suppliers
- Design reviews, Supplier technical feasibility confirmation, technical review with suppliers for Process and controls
- Cost Reduction Projects & BCC Sourcing
- Increasing Gross Profit Margin (GPM) through cost reduction via. Alternate Sourcing, Benchmarking of best processes and Optimization
- Managing timely part development as well as approvals for BCC support (Cost reduction initiatives through resourcing of parts driven by other region (EMEA, NAFTA
