About the role
We are seeking a Lead/Principal AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to own the design, standardization, and operation of enterprise AWS infrastructure at scale. This is a technical leadership role responsible for landing zone and platform architecture, automation and governance frameworks, reliability and cost optimization, and for guiding engineering teams and engaging senior stakeholders and vendors.
What you'll do
- Lead the design and implementation of AWS landing zones, multi-account structures, and platform foundations using Control Tower, Organizations
- Define and own infrastructure standards, reference architectures, and reusable Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform preferred) modules consumed across teams
- Architect and govern networking at scale — Transit Gateway, VPC design, VPN/Direct Connect, Route 53, PrivateLink, IPAM
- Establish governance, security, and compliance frameworks — SCPs, IAM/identity models, KMS/Secrets Manager strategy, Config rules, tagging, and security baselines
- Drive reliability engineering — multi-AZ/multi-region HA and DR design, backup strategy, capacity/quota planning, observability, and SLOs
