About the role
As an IT Audit Manager within Global Internal Audit , you will support the Engagement Lead in the effective planning and execution of IT and Cybersecurity audit engagements across audit and advisory workstreams. You will manage and direct audit teams, oversee engagement delivery across process and technology domains, build strategic stakeholder partnerships, and deliver value-added insights that strengthen Cognizant’s control environment.
What you'll do
- Prepare IT and cyber audit programs targeting high-risk areas in the company’s controls, systems, and processes
- Coordinate audit activities with external and co-sourced internal auditors to ensure proper audit coverage, elimination of duplication of effort
- Monitor execution and reporting phases of each engagement to ensure fieldwork aligns with planned scope, risk areas, and budget expectations
- Supervise team members, drive their accountability and timely execution, and provide proactive performance feedback
- Assess identified gaps and areas for improvement, evaluate their significance and potential business impact
