About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java / Perl Developer to design, develop, enhance, and support enterprise applications in a fast-paced, Agile delivery environment. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in modern Java development, Perl scripting and legacy application support, AWS cloud services, APIs, relational databases, and production support.
What you'll do
- Analyze user stories and business requirements; identify technical dependencies, clarify requirements, and provide development estimates
- Design, develop, test, debug, deploy, and maintain scalable Java-based applications, services, and integrations
- Develop, enhance, and support Perl applications, scripts, batch jobs, and legacy processing components
- Translate functional requirements into clean, secure, maintainable, and well-documented technical solutions
- Design and develop RESTful APIs and enterprise integrations with upstream and downstream systems
